Personal Information

We may require you to provide personally identifiable information, including but not limited to: 

Cholo Garage App – 

  • Mobile Number
  • Provided pin (4 digits)
  • National ID Card Number
  • Name of the User

Thunderbolt App – 

  • Mobile Number
  • Provided pin (4 digits)

This information is retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy to facilitate app functionality and improve user experience.

Location Data
  • Purpose: We collect location data to enable app features with  Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication with nearby IoT devices.
  • Collection Methods: Location data is collected through GSM, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points.
  • Usage Scenarios: We may collect location data even when the app runs in the background or is not actively used. This is necessary to ensure uninterrupted functionality, such as Bluetooth device scanning, real-time monitoring, and maintaining communication with IoT devices.
Storage Permissions
  • Purpose: We use file storage permission to save files required for app functionalities such as firmware updates to IoT devices.
  • Details: The files are stored locally on your device and used solely for their intended purpose.
Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal data with third parties unless it is necessary to provide app functionality or required by law. If data sharing is necessary, it will be disclosed explicitly within the app.

Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13. If we discover that personal information has been provided by a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

We are committed to complying with Google Play’s Prominent Disclosure & Consent requirements:

  1. In-app Disclosure: We display clear and unambiguous disclosures about data access, collection, usage, and sharing within the app itself. This disclosure appears before requesting sensitive permissions.
  2. Consent: User consent is obtained through affirmative action (e.g., tapping “Allow” or checking a box). Navigation away from the disclosure screen is not interpreted as consent.
  3. Background Data Usage Disclosure:
    We inform users about background data usage through the following disclosure displayed prominently in-app:
    “This app collects location data in the background to scan and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices, even when the app is closed or not in use. This ensures uninterrupted functionality, such as maintaining communication with IoT devices and real-time monitoring.”
  4. Opt-Out:
    Users can opt out of background location data collection by disabling permissions in their device settings.

ME SOLshare LTD built the Cholo Garage and Cholo Driver app and ME SOLshare LTD respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application Cholo Garage and Cholo Driver. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the mobile store from which you install the Application.  We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

Information collection and use

For a better experience, while using the Cholo Garage and Cholo Driver application, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Name, Mobile Number, NID, and Address. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Location Data

We may track your location to gather information about the locations of the drivers of your garage. When you use our services we may collect information about your location. With your permission, we may also collect information about our precise location using methods that include GPS wireless networks cell towers Wi-Fi access points, and other sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, and compasses.

Security

We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will address the issue in a due manner. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

Usage of different device permissions

We will ask you for two different permissions. The permissions we ask, for are necessary for running the Application. These permissions include:

Use of Location Permission

We need your location permission to establish Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between the Application and the IoT devices we have used in our system. Note that, we do not store any location information about you and your device.

Use of File Storage Permission

We need your file storage permission to save a file downloaded from the server when you use our Firmware update feature. We save the file at local storage and perform the firmware update to a connected IoT device using that file.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason.  We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy.  You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.
